Gauze Swabs are used to control bleeding, clean wounds and dress wounds if necessary.
These swabs are commonly used to apply antibacterial solution or cream and are also ideal for plugging an empty tooth socket when there is excessive bleeding.
Gauze Swabs 7.5cm x 7.5cm (100) are a good value bulk option, to be kept in a sterilised container. They are 8-ply cotton for superior absorption.
Gauze Swabs Directions
- Ensure gauze swabs remain uncontaminated while opening package and prior to attending to wound.
- Apply gauze swab to wound with gloves, taking care to handle as little as necessary.
- Dispose of immediately. Keep remaining swabs in a sterilised container.
