LiteAire Spacers Disposable offer low-cost pop-up convenience and effective delivery of asthma medication from a Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI).
Made of cardboard, LiteAire Spacers Disposable are lightweight and stored flat, making them easy for School Nurses, First Aiders and teachers to carry in any First Aid Kit or classroom.
These spacers are dual-valved, individually wrapped and ready to use repeatedly for up to one week by a single student, reducing the risk of cross-contamination from a standard chamber or spacer.
Directions
- Pop up flat-packed spacer and insert MDI. Follow student’s Asthma Management Plan.
- Student should breathe out, hold spacer to their mouth, release one MDI puff into spacer and inhale, ensuring a good seal.
- Student should hold breath and count to 10, then exhale. Repeat to administer more medication. Flatten spacer after use.
